General Klideris, who over his many years of service clashed openly with dark mechanisms both under PASOK and under New Democracy governments, paying the price of his discharge from service, is laying his cards on the table.
The book is a living X-ray of the corruption networks that plunder the country's institutions, its justice system and its security forces, connecting the events directly with the institutional collapse the Greek people are living through today, in the year 2026.
This re-publication, however, has an unprecedented political purpose: the General is at the same time announcing the founding of the political movement “INSTITUTIONAL REFOUNDATION” and choosing an entirely independent, unpatronised way of funding it.
The movement refuses resources from large Greek and foreign business interests.

General Giorgos Klideris states: “We do not ask oligarchs for sponsorships, because we do not intend to serve them. We ask the Greek people to become the funders of their own freedom. For €10, every citizen gains access to the truth and at the same time supports a struggle whose sole aim is to reach 20% in Parliament, so as to impose an institutional clean-up and a real social policy. A mafia is not reformed, only dismantled.”
